Guidelines and Regulations

All Programs

  • Your payment must be made in full at the time of registration.
  • Payment is to be made by check, cash or money order prior to the beginning of each session.
  • Returned checks will be electronically processed along with associated fees.
  • Only classes canceled or reschedule by World Language Institute will allow for a full refund.
  • All fees are non-refundable once accepted into the program.
  • Books and materials are non-refundable.
  • In the event of an absent teacher, we will send a substitute teacher. If we cannot send a replacement, we will call all the parents and the school to cancel the class. We will offer a makeup class at another time. Any teacher continually missing sessions will not work at WLI.
  • Parents will be notified if their children have repeated disciplinary problems. 
  • Disciplinary problems may result in suspension from the program.  Should all other efforts fail to resolve these problems, this action may prevent future participation.
  • No refund will be given if suspension occurs.
  • All fees are non-refundable once accepted into the program.

After School Programs

  • Check our calendars to find out what days the programs will take place at your school.
  • The cost will be pro-rated for the remainder of the session if joining after the session has started.
  • Classes may be canceled due to low enrollment (minimum 4 students).
  • If the class is canceled, full refund will be given.
  • There will be no reduction based on the number of children registered by one family.
  • No refunds will be given if your child is absent to a class. 
  • Checks should be made payable to World Language Institute or WLI.  A $12.50 Charge will be assessed for returned checks.
  • Classes will not be offered on school closures and school holidays.
  • Children must be picked up promptly at the end of the class.  Failure to do so will result in a penalty of $10 per 15 minutes late. 
  • Consistent late pick up may result in suspension from program.
  • Children who become ill may not remain in the class.  The parents will be called to pick up the child.
  • Parents are asked to see that staff is made aware of any food or other allergies (medications).
  • Children are expected to go directly to the assigned site immediately following release from school. 
  • Parents are expected to pick up their child outside the school building.
  • No refunds will be given when the schools are closed.


Private Classes

  • Full payment for pre-arranged private or semi-private classes is required.
  • To reschedule or cancel, a twenty four hour notice must be given.
  • Prepaid packages of multiple hours are non-refundable.
  • No credits or refunds will be given for missed sessions, students missing sessions frequently will be dropped from enrollment.

Group Programs

  • Group classes cannot be canceled or rescheduled.
  • Classes may be canceled due to low enrollment (minimum 4 students). If the class is canceled, a full refund will be given.
  • 30 days withdrawal notice is required or a fee of one month’s tuition will be charged.
  • Group classes require a $50.00 yearly fee for classroom's materials


Summer Camps

  • Group classes cannot be canceled or rescheduled.
  • Classes are non-refundable, but you can transfer to another summer camp week if available.
  • Receive 5% discount for a second child.
  • Classes may be canceled due to low enrollment (minimum 8 students). If the class is canceled, a full refund will be given.
